His quote was fair and even replaced a few messing boards at no extra charge. The crew did an excellent job and repaired the area that caused a roof leak. I cannot say enough great things about this company and Zane. Legacy was my first choice but they quoted materials I wasn't familiar with so I contracted with another company that was going to use what I wanted. After having contracted with another Zane and I discussed that he would have gladly bid those same materials. Lesson learned, I never thought to ask. Then in the course of 3 weeks the other company kept changing things up (like the deposit, time frame) and finding $3000 to $12000 worth of things they wanted to do extra. I finally told them to go away. At that point I called Zane again. He quoted me the same price as the other company, did the "extra" stuff for practically nothing and from the time I signed the contract with Legacy to the time my roof was completed was a whopping 5 days. The installation took all of 1 day. The roofers and carpenters were amazing. They painted the facia / siding repairs to match the house perfectly. They took great care in taking care of my home, yard and pool during the installation. If you'd seen the debris you'd think they'll never get all of that picked up, but they did. Legacy Roof TX is the best. I have a beautiful new roof and couldn't be happier.

Absolute great experience. I have a brand new roof on my house. Previous roofers wouldn’t fix it. Called legacy and he showed up that day and repaired it and did extra work sealing nail holes that could have cause leaks. Great choice ! 10 out of 10 experience. Got updates as well. Perfect.

Zane and crew are 100% awesome! They show up on time, are upfront about everything they will do, and do a great job! Zane even took down an old satellite dish and sealed the holes for me as part of my minor shingle repair. If you need roofing, these are the guys to get it done!
Zane did a fantastic job on repairing the roof around a vent pipe. Fast, courteous and a quality job. We called on Tuesday and he was here Wednesday. We definitely recommend him and will call him for future problems.
I contacted Zane during the Ice Storm to inspect my roof due to numerous large limbs falling from the ice storm. As soon as it was safe Zane and his colleague set up the inspection, they were prompt and professional. Thankfully we did not have any damage to the roof itself, but he did notice our dryer vent needed replacement. Zane quickly found the part and had it replaced. Extremely prompt and professional service!
I had very minor damage to my roof. Eddie Willis was managing a crew replacing my neighbors roof. Insurance would not cover (deductible too high) the repair. It was late and the crew had just finished up. I asked Eddie to look at my damage. Even though the crew was ready to go home, they came over and repaired my roof. I would highly recommend this crew to fix your roof, big or small.

During the few days of heavy rain last week one of our bedrooms showed signs of a leak from the roof. We contacted Zane and he responded immediately and was at our home taking a look the same day to assess the situation. He showed us pictures that he took during his assessment so we were better able to understand what we were dealing with. Zane laid out a plan to make the necessary repairs. We agreed for him to move forward and together we picked the day for him to come and do the repair. On the date we agreed, he was there on time and completed the work in a timely fashion and even spent a few minutes reviewing with us what he worked on. Overall a fantastic experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend Zane if you have any roofing needs. It's a pleasure to deal with someone who is timely, efficient and does what he says he will.

Zane was amazingly quick at responding after the winter storm in 2021. Zane made sure that we didn’t have any serious damage and made a few small repairs for us. He also checked our dryer vent on the roof and replaced it so that less lint would get trapped up there. He was very professional and efficient, getting the job done quickly. Highly recommend!

Just exceptional service from Zane! I had the wrong dryer vent cover on my roof and needed someone to replace it for me. He answered my call immediately, sent me a price quote shortly after, and did the dryer vent cover replacement all on the same day! Plus, he sent me all the roofing work pictures, so I can be assured. You seriously can't get better service than this and the price was unbeatable. I'll definitely come back for any future roofing needs!

Woke up this morning to water dripping in the attic from the roof. I called Legacy Roof and left a voicemail at 5am and by 8am Zane had texted me back and setup a time to come out. Zane was on time, explained what the issue was and gave me a few options and cost to fix the leak, no pressure to do anything else. The cost to fix the leak was less then I expected and based on the pictures taken, I decided to fix the rest of the areas that needed some work. Great service, great communication and no doubt I will call Legacy Roof again if I need other work done on my roof.

We had a water leak on the garage ceiling after the May 6 storm. Zane quickly responded and professionally inspected our entire roof. He advised me that my roof was not the problem and was caused by HVAC equipment over the garage. I appreciated honesty and friendly services. I would highly recommend his company.

Legacy Roofing did a great job replacing our roof! Zane and his large crew showed up early one Tuesday morning, moved some items in the yard (that were near the house) out of the way and protected our deck and trees. They were very professional and all of his guys conducted themselves well. From the time they knocked on the door in the early am to the time they pulled away in the afternoon it was just under 9 hours. They cleaned up well and even sent a magnet team to clean up screws and nails the next day. I would highly recommend Zane and his guys with Legacy Roofing. 5 Stars all the way around. Zane from Legacy Roof TX came to inspect a leak in our roof today (on a Sunday no less and during a football game) and I couldn't be more impressed with the quality service! Not only did he provide helpful advice, but also performed basic maintenance to address the leak. His professionalism and expertise were evident throughout. Zane fixed the shingles on our roof and did the roof maintenance at half the cost of a different contractor who quoted us for the same work. He did a really great job and we'll definitely call in the future as needed.
What a great company! Had shingle damage on our recently purchased home following high winds. He was very responsive and very knowledgeable. Quickly fixed the problem at a fair price. THEN we had another wind storm and a handful of shingles blew off again. So he fixed these again for FREE! He had explained that the original shingles the home builder used were low quality. This evaluation is proving correct. Eventually we will have to replace the existing shingles. Legacy Roof TX will definitely get the job!

I was looking for a roof inspection company to have my roof inspected. After a long search I finally found out Zane from Legacy roof. He was very flexible to come over for the date that we picked. He thoroughly inspected my roof and liked the way he explained the things clearly and in detail that are going with my roof. Very honest person to work with and I would definitely recommend him if anyone wants their roof inspected or repaired.
Windstorms in TX don’t mess around! I called and was able to speak with Zane personally, with QUICK turnaround! He came next day, and was able to repair not only the damage from wind BUT some other potential problems! Professional, accountable, trustworthy and transparent! About a month ago there were strong winds in my area, which caused my relatively new roof (the home is only 2 years old) to need a minor repair (I lost a few ridge shingles). Most roofers either tried to upsell me on work I didn't need, or had relatively high job minimums compared to the work that needed to be done. When I reached out to Legacy Roofing and spoke to Zane, he could immediately tell that it was a simple job and quoted a very reasonable price to come out and make the repair, without any efforts to upsell me. We got to speak for a bit after he finished the repair and he was very friendly and clearly knowledgable about all things roofing. I definitely plan to make him my first call next time I need any roof repairs or maintenance, and would definitely recommend that he be your first call too!

I used Legacy Roof TX for roof and gutter replacement after the last big hailstorm. From the beginning, owner Zane Ptolemy, had excellent communication skills. Zane and his team did an excellent job on my roof and my gutters .I also used him for some extra work, painting , siding repair and deck staining. Everything turned out so well, the house looks new again. I can't tell you how happy I am with all of this and how I appreciate Zane and his team so much. Team members were also very polite! Patrick and his crew did a fantastic job on a full roof and gutter replacement due to hail. Between getting a higher accuracy with the insurance adjuster and superior workmanship of the final job, I am very satisfied. I was real picky about how my chimney saddle and sky lights were flashed and they look great. Patrick even sent me photos of my chimney stacks and ensured the sparks had no way to re-enter the vent. I was always kept abreast of the timing and changes as they occurred; besting my deadline. I also had Legacy repair some hail damage on another roof to ensure I'd get more life from it. These guys repair and not just replace roofs, saving my family a lot of money.

Wow! Highly recommend Legacy Roofing! Zane went above and beyond for an urgent issue we had at our house. We needed to remove some metal 'coping' to make room to replace a broken window. He showed up quickly, explained exactly what he was going to do, and protected the exposed area in case of rain (which was unexpected but very much appreciated since it rained a few days after!) As soon as the window was replaced he returned promptly to replace the coping. Excellent work, punctual, highly communicative, and a great guy! We will definitely work with Legacy Roof TX again!!

Zane Ptolemy (Legacy Roof TX) is a knowledgeable, reliable roofing professional who was recommended to me a few years ago, so I have used his services more than once. He does a good job for a fair price. I am a realtor and I have referred him to several of my clients. Needless to say, I recommend him highly.
Legacy Roof delivered timely quality installation and product in favor of myself for my home. All communication was quick and efficient fulfilling all requirements of quick turn arounds from insurance company to positively impact my finances for present and future. A great recommendation is always helpful when selecting a roofing contractor…Many do not know what they are doing!! Zane with Legacy Roofing has the experience to know what should been included in estimating the cost of repairing/replacing a roof. He discovered major repairs the insurance adjuster left out. Since he has vast experience with insurance he was able to go up on my roof personally and take more than 40 photos knowing exactly what my insurance person would want to see. Our home was struck by hail. After speaking with multiple roofing companies I decided to go with Legacy Roof. I was looking for the best cost solution; Legacy was able to perform this while keeping in compliance with all state deductible laws. They were incredibly knowledgeable in the Insurance process and would recommend any home owner in the central Texas area.

Legacy Roof came to repair a leak in my roof within about 24 hours of my call. Zane gave me thorough explanations with pictures of the problems and knocked out the repairs. I appreciate his honesty and education on how to deal with certain issues I experienced during previous freezes. He will be my go-to roofer moving forward. I found Legacy Roof by google searching and calling a high-rated nearby option nearby. I was lucky to find them. I don’t normally leave reviews but they certainly deserve praise. I needed a new roof back in August 2024. A friend recommended Zane of Legacy Roof TX. I called and he came out to give me an estimate on replacing the roof. After answering my many questions about my different options, he quoted me what I thought was a reasonable price for a new roof. I went ahead and scheduled the work. His crew came out on the designated day at the designated time and worked all day until they got it done. I was very pleased with the quality of the work they did. I called him on Friday and he came out the next day. There was a lot of issues with our roof thanks to the winter storm, heat and the rain we've had lately. Our attic floor was full of water and it was leaking through the walls. I thought it was going to cost a small fortune to fix. Thankfully my realtor recommended Zane and I am so grateful he did! Unlike other companies I consulted, Zane took the time to walk me through every detail of the project, addressing concerns that others had overlooked. During the roof replacement, Zane personally monitored the entire process. He even pointed out a subtle color difference in some shingles that I hadn’t noticed. It turned out that the supplier had provided shingles from different lots, causing the discrepancy. Highly recommend! Zane was so easy to work with. I’ve had a lingering issue with my ceiling that I didn’t know if it was attic or ceiling related. After the wind storm I figured it was time to resolve that and any issues from the storm. Called Zane and two days later he was out and fixed my problem immediately ahead of the upcoming freeze. Also help me from future water damage. Easy to communicate with via text. I would recommend Legacy roof and will be using Zane if I have any other roof needs.

If you are looking for a gem of a roofer, look no further than Zane and Legacy Roof TX. They replaced my roof in the spring of 2024 and fixed a long standing problem with a valley that collected rain from 3 areas. The 2nd photo shows the moisture at the brick wall that appeared every time it rained. It's been bone dry since Zane and his team installed this system. We had some shingles come off of our roof during the strong winds on 03/04/2025. I called Zane the next morning and he came that day to re-install the missing shingles. Zane is one of the most honest contractors I have ever worked with, and I used to build custom homes for 12 years. I usually hesitate to endorse contractors, but Zane is one who I have no issues highly recommending and putting my reputation on the line for, because I know he will live up to it. There was an issue with a gutter system from the roof installer that he previously worked with that was going to cost me money to fix and I was going to have to fight with the other contractor to get fixed, when he found out about it he without hesitation said don't worry about it, I will take care of the repair and cost! He didn't have to, he could have easily said go fight with the previous guy, but he didn't, there are very few who would do that. I trust Zane and will continue use him and highly recommend him!
Zane was very quick to respond and come out to look at a hole in my roof. He was able to fix it on the spot and was very professional.
We had our roof replaced a few months ago by a different roofing contractor after a particularly violent hail storm. This week, during a heavy rain storm, we had water leaking into hour house from both the flashing around the chimney and into our eaves where our new gutters had been improperly installed. Rather than chase issues as they occured with our new roof, we decided to hire Legacy to conduct a thorough roof inspection as a neutral third party. I called the number listed for Legacy on Google; which was answered immediately by Zane the owner. I briefly explained the situation, he took down our information and agreed to meet me the next day. Zane arrived on site, on time and introduced himself and his business. I gave him the more detailed version of our roofing saga to which he commented helpfully and affirmed what I'd come to suspect; that we'd been taken advantage of as first time home owners by manipulative contractors. He proceeded to inspect the roof, gutters and eaves ultimately coming to the conclusion that while the roofing job was acceptable, the new gutters were improperly installed and needed to be redone completely. If I knew then what I know now, I would have hired Zane and Legacy to replace our roof and while I can't change the past, I truly appreciate his honesty and transparency in helping us resolve an unfortunate situation.
I am absolutely thrilled with Legacy Roof TX. These guys went above my expectations. They stuck to the schedule, they were attentive to details, they were professional and they cleaned up after!!! That is huge in my book…oh and to boot I got upgraded fans, vents! The owner of the company is a by the book kinda guy…so no shortcuts. Zane came out to inspect my roof after I had received a very high estimate from a high pressure sales outfit to replace the entire roof ($35k?!). I am very glad that I contacted Zane for another opinion. Zane was able to put the condition of the roof and damage in perspective, allay my fears, and make the necessary repairs that day. Zane was timely and communicative to coordinate the appointment and then very knowledgeable and professional during the inspection and repair. Very transparent and reasonable pricing as well. Highly recommend.

We are so impressed with the quality of work and service we received! They went above and beyond to find an exact match for our shingles, even when having to drive a long distance. My recent experience with Zane from Legacy Roof TX was outstanding. I asked for repair of some missing shingles that I had spotted, but I was concerned that there might be other damage that should be addressed as well. Zane thoroughly inspected my roof and made some minor repairs that will extend the lifetime of my current roof. There was no hard sell approach, only a professional and respectful dialog. Legacy Roof TX has done a fantastic job on my roof. I needed some repair done to the roof cap. It was damaged by wind several weeks ago! Patrick B. came out and gave me a quote. It was a very affordable price that fit our budget. He came out and done the job in less than two hours. During dose two hours, not only he fixed the roof cap. He also reseal all the flashing and flute thru out the roof. Plus Patrick went above and beyond the duty of clean out one of my rain gutter that did not have a screen on it and blew all the leaves away from my main entrance of the house. He made sure he clean up his mess and show me what he has done. He even gave me some honestly pointers on what to expect on my roof in the next few years. I highly recommend giving these guys your business.

I am so impressed with this roofing company!! When I called Zane answered the phone himself and was extremely courteous and professional. I asked him to come by to give me an estimate and make some minor roof repairs because a recent rainstorm caused some leaking near my water heaters and set off the protective alarm. Even though he was extremely busy with repairing hail damage done to several roofs in the area, he said he would try and swing by as soon as possible. Not only did he come by that same day, but he made the minor roof repairs at no charge!! He was timely, courteous, honest, generous, and I will definitely use him again.
